Just a quick look at our SPY chart for Thursday around lunchtime. Biggest problems for the markets right now is the FED raising rates and the China trade war. I still have 270 as a support level for the SPY. We are staying above that, but also still stuck below the 200-day moving average. The MACD is neutral. The Stochastics are low and appear to be recycling back up. The Money Flow is neutral. Watch the 200-day Moving Average: We are currently below it. This level is often mentioned by traders, but more importantly it is in many computer trading algos. The 200-day can also be used as a moving resistance or support line. Currently we are pinned between 270 and the 200-day MA until we can break up or down. We briefly got above it today, but thanks to continued weakness in tech are now back below it again. The tug of war continues. Just 1 week till Thanksgiving!Disclosure: I may trade in the ticker symbols mentioned, both long or short.
